Evrychou – Nicosia District
The Olive and Aromatic Herbs Festival in Evrychou celebrates olives and aromatic plants, two of the most important crops of the Solea region. The two-day programme features music and dance, cooking demonstrations, workshops for children and adults, and seminars focusing on the Mediterranean diet, olive oil and herbs.
Visitors can also take part in hands-on activities, including the preparation of traditional olive pies and cracked green olives, discover the olive oil production process, and enjoy a variety of traditional and other local dishes.
