The 3rd Fyti Weaving Festival is dedicated to the traditional weaving art of Fyti and to Cyprus’s cultural heritage.
Visitors can discover the art of Fytiotiko weaving through workshops held in local weavers’ homes, at the Museum and the Cultural Centre, and can also take part in halloumi-making workshops. The programme includes live Greek and Cypriot music, traditional dances, an art exhibition, children’s activities, and stalls featuring local products and handicrafts. Traditional treats, including loukoumades and honey pies, complete the experience.
