Giolou welcomes spring in the most fragrant and festive way through the 7th Almond Blossom Festival, which will take place on Sunday, 15 February 2026, from 11:00, at the village coffee‑shop square.
The Giolou Community Council invites people of all ages to a unique experience dedicated to nature, tradition, and the authentic treasures of the region. In this thematic and multidimensional festival, the blooming almond trees become a symbol of renewal and joy, creating the ideal setting for a day filled with images, aromas, and flavours.
Residents and visitors will have the opportunity to discover the village’s local products, support local producers, and celebrate the arrival of spring together. Residents of Giolou may participate with their own handmade or home‑produced goods by submitting an application to the Community Council by 26 January 2026. Priority will be given to stalls related to almonds.
