Carob Festival
The Municipality of Peyia celebrates Cyprus’s Black Gold at the Carob Festival. The picturesque setting above the fishing shelter and the view of the enchanting sunset provide an additional reason to attend the event, even for those who have never tasted carob. Visitors can walk around the festival grounds and discover this versatile fruit, its properties and its many uses.
Those who enjoy sweets can taste a range of carob delicacies: carob biscuits, cow’s-milk cheese with carob syrup and, of course, pasteli.
