PELENDRI ZIVANIA FESTIVAL 2026
The village of Pelendri has officially announced the dates for its annual two-day celebration! The Pelendri Zivania Festival will take place on Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 8, 2026, offering visitors an authentic taste of Cypriot tradition and hospitality. The festival will feature traditional music and dancing, a local market, reenactments of the traditional grape harvest, grape stomping, and much more.
Take a stroll towards the village centre and discover the heart of the festivities. Mingle with the locals and watch the traditional, time-honoured process of distilling zivania, Cyprus's iconic grape-based spirit.
Sample this authentic Cypriot drink and pair it with delicious local cured and smoked meats, such as hiromeri (traditional cured pork), lountza (cured pork loin), and Cypriot sausages.
