The Museum of Folk Art and Traditional Heritage is located near the village square of Platanistasa. Despite its small size, it fully captures the timeless history, cultural richness, and folkloric heritage of the community. The museum displays tools once used in daily life, such as a traditional loom (voufa) with all its accessories, a millstone, and the complete equipment of an olive press and winery. It also showcases tools from agricultural and livestock practices, mining equipment, household utensils, traditional costumes, and more.
The museum hosts lectures on religious, cultural, and national topics. Guided tours are also available upon prior telephone arrangement.
