Kolokasi Μουσείο Κυπριακών Τροφίμων
One of the festival’s main features is cooperation among farmers, who share their knowledge and stories relating to the crop. Distinguished chefs present traditional recipes such as kolokasi kapama, a well-known Kokkinochoria dish cooked with red wine; kolokasi yiachni, cooked in tomato sauce; and fried poulles, the plant’s smaller corms. Innovative recipes using the celebrated vegetable are also prepared, while food and drinks are available for sale to suit different tastes.
