The Olive Oil Festival in Agios Ioannis, Paphos, is dedicated to the olive tree and olive oil, both of which hold an important place in Cyprus’s diet, everyday life and cultural heritage.
Visitors can discover the traditional olive oil production process using a stone mill and press, taste olive oil and local foods such as toasted bread, palouzes and resi, and explore stalls featuring a variety of Cypriot products.
