We participate in European projects aimed at the protection, promotion, and dissemination of Cypriot gastronomic heritage.


The Museum of Cyprus Food and Nutrition Museum actively participates in a series of European research and cultural projects aimed at highlighting and protecting Cyprus’s gastronomic heritage. Through these collaborations, the Museum enriches its collections with valuable digital material while contributing to the promotion of Cypriot gastronomy at an international level.
Our involvement in European projects offers the opportunity to showcase the history, customs, and traditions surrounding Cypriot food and drinks, while strengthening our cooperation with other cultural organizations, institutions, and bodies across Europe.

A project for creating, sharing, and making use of food and drink related content
Europeana Food and Drink is a project funded by the European Commission under the CIP ICT PSP that aims at promoting the wider re-use of the digital resources available through Europeana.
