Hambis Christodoulou Nyssi (born in 1898 in Lemythou, Λαογραφικό Αρχείον - Folklore Archive T. 566, Χφ. 1) states: "The grapes are not crushed, white or dark, we collect them and hang them to beconsumed while fresh; they are refreshing. We eat them in May." (Ionas 2001, 103-106).
