Greek name - description
It is a herbaceous perennial plant. The bulb has an irregular round shape and is dark brown in colour. This plant is not common and is found only in cultivated fields. The inside of the bulb is white and tastes like coconut. It is harvested in March and May (Kantzilaris, 2007 p. 266).

Scientific name: Bunium Ferculaceum. Common names include Ferulaceum Earthnut & Ferulaceum Black Caraway.
