Name - Origin
This is ouzo (Yangoullis 2009, entry ζούκκιν,το, 158), which was made by combining zivania with aniseed.

Many vine growers produce the village ouzo (zoukkin) by adding sugar and aniseed or aniseed oil to their zivania (Ioakim 2004, 66).
