Ingredients

6kg santa rosa plums
Sugar (1 part pulp to 1 part sugar)

Method

Wash the plums, pit them and boil them to soften. When they are soft, pass them through a strainer so that a pulp forms. For each glass of pulp, add 1 glass of sugar. Place it over a low heat and stir well constantly until the jam starts to thicken. When you are sure it has set, let it cool, remove the foam and transfer it in very clean jars.
