"On Good Friday we would prepare the Easter buns. They were given the shape of the hand of Virgin Mary, that is, they were given a round shape, and we would make the design which was the hand of Virgin Mary. We would make dahtyla, tsiourekkia and others" (Mavrokordatos, p. 354).
