Chickpeas with pasta

A dish that creatively combines legumes and pasta, with rich aromas from parsley, oregano and rosemary.

Ingredients

1 glass of chickpeas
3/4 glass of village macaroni or pennine or denti rigati
1 onion, chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp chopped parsley
Oregano
Rosemary 
A little salt

Method

Let the chickpeas soak in water overnight. In a pot, boil the chickpeas. Puree half of the chickpeas in a blender. In a saucepan, sauté the chopped onion lightly with the herbs. Boil the pasta with water and broth from the boiled chickpeas. Drain the pasta and mix with the remaining ingredients. Add salt and let it cook for 5 more minutes. Serve with chopped parsley.
