Processing method

They would boil portos (ground bulgur wheat) in water and add fried pieces of bread or onion. In some villages of Paphos, vermicelli was added to pourkourosouppa. In some villages, tsiorvas also contained vermicelli or pieces of red pumpkin (Kypri, Protopapa, 2003 pp. 270-271)
