Ingredients

1kg of green beans
3-4 potatoes
apohtin

Method

Boil the dried apohtin 2-3 times in plenty of water, to desalinate. Cut it into pieces, fry it and store it in bottles. Use it whenever preparing a dish with green beans or potatoes. (Eugenia Stavrou, Cooking Cypriot food, 2014)
