Ingredients

1/2 kg green beans
1/4 kg sweet marrow
1 tsp salt
1 lt water

Method

Peel and cut the green beans. Cut the marrow into pieces (cubes about 4x4x4cm). Bring the water to a boil, then add the green beans. When half cooked, add the marrow and let them boil together until they are cooked. Just before they are done, add the salt. Serve with lemon and olive oil. (Maria Lazarou, 73 years old, Pedoulas)
