Delicious meat balls made with minced meat and grated potatoes.

Κεφτέδες.

Ingredients

1 kilo of minced meat
3-4 grated potatoes
¾ bunch of fresh parsley, finely chopped
2 slices of bread soaked in water and drained
2 onions, finely chopped
2 eggs
Dried spearmint
Ground cumin
Salt, pepper 
Oil for frying

Method

After draining the grated potatoes, add them in a bowl with the minced meat. Add the remaining ingredients: parsley, bread, onions, eggs, spearmint, cumin, salt and pepper. Mix very well by hand and form round or narrow meatballs. Fry them in plenty of hot oil. Serve with french fries. (MARNE 2006, 29)
