For this recipe, fresh onions are used which are fried together with the potatoes.

3 potatoes cut into cubes
1 bunch of spring onions
Oil for frying
Salt and pepper
Fry the potatoes in plenty of oil. When they are almost done, remove half of the oil and add the coarsely chopped onions to the potatoes. Once cooked, remove them to a platter, season with salt and pepper and serve. (MANRE 2006, 22)
