Potatoes yahni with rice
Potatoes and rice cooked in tomato sauce, cumin and cinnamon.

Πατάτες γιαχνί Κλήρου.
1 kg potatoes
1/2 cup olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
1 cup of rice
Tomato paste
Ground cumin
Ground cinnamon
Salt
Sauté the onion in olive oil and add the potatoes. Add the tomato paste and water until the potatoes are covered. When the potatoes are half cooked, add the rice. Finally, add the salt, cumin and cinnamon. (MANRE 2006, 21)
