Ingredients

1½ glass of beans
2 medium sized carrots cut into discs
2-3 sliced onions
1-2 garlic cloves, sliced
1 glass of celery, chopped
1 glass of tomato juice
3-4 tbsp olive oil
A pinch of salt 
Pepper

Method

Clean, wash and soak the beans in cold water overnight. In a pot, add the beans and cold water and bring to a boil. Change the water 1-2 times and skim the beans. Add all the ingredients together except the salt and cook until tender. In the last 5 minutes add the salt. Serve with seasonal salad, black olives and onion. (MANRE 2008)
